MSc., Doctoral Researcher

Federico D’Atri

Federico D’Atri holds an MSc in Applied Cognitive Psychology from the University of Trieste, where he completed a thesis on the application of bidimensional regression to drawing tests commonly used in dementia screening under the supervision of Michele Grassi. He is currently pursuing a PhD in Neuroscience and Cognitive Science at the University of Trieste, focusing on topics at the intersection of spatial attention, emotion, and numerical cognition under the supervision of Carlo Fantoni.

Throughout the autumn semester of the 2025/2026 academic year, Federico visited the Mathematical Cognition and Learning Lab to work on a simulation project involving the comparison of different methodologies for detecting the SNARC effect and other cognitive effects in conflict paradigms, in collaboration with Krzysztof Cipora and Mateusz Hohol. Federico remains a collaborator with our lab.

During his free time, he enjoys diving deep into statistical and methodological issues in data analysis. Otherwise, you’ll probably find him at some climbing gym, wherever he actually stays.
